After a rainy week, everyone’s mood was boosted when it was announced that GSP would be hosting a carnival.
After General Studies, many scholars were excited to head to Winslow. Walking through sparkling curtains of streamers, the students were met with a large array of food and entertainment.
Not only were there fun games and prizes, but there was also a variety of foods not normally offered. With carnival food, funnel cakes, and a sundae bar, even those usually critical of Winslow dining were talking about how good the meal was.
Groups came together and competed in a variety of games, including cup pong. Many scholars won various prizes as a part of the raffle, and everyone was able to find something they could enjoy there.
As we get closer to the end of GSP, these events give us an opportunity to make fun memories with our community before we return home. Make sure to look at the other fun special events planned for this week!
