GSP has had a variety of activities throughout the past few weeks, but one has stayed constant; regardless of where you are or what time it is, you’ll see scholars occupied with thread. Friendship bracelets have been taking up the free time of the students here, and it has been a great way for scholars to connect over a common hobby.
Most of the time attached to water bottles, you’ll see these bracelets being added to during convocations, breaks, meals, and group hangouts. Aside from the occasional comment in the Memo, these crafts have been an encouraged and shared experience not only for students, but also for the RAs that help with bracelet making.
The Friendship Bracelet Making Club provides the opportunity for students to meet together and work on bracelets between classes and events. It lets them learn new patterns, meet new people, and become a part of this widespread trend. Held outside, it’s a relaxing way to share tips and grow your abilities.
Whether you’re making bracelets for yourself or others, this is a fun and easy way to add to your GSP experience and make shared memories with other scholars. Even when the program ends, this activity will provide countless hours of additional fun!
