The Volleyball Club welcomes any level of skills to play together at the Wellness Center! From scholars currently playing on their school team to scholars who are playing for the first time, the volleyball club builds a community by playing together. RA Monica leads the club, ensuring a referee is there for the matches played. The club is quite popular, often having around 30 scholars show to play.
Scholars on the court are understanding of others. If someone misses their first serve, they are allowed to re-serve. Scholars celebrate together on their victories and encourage other scholars on their failures. Communication makes for a graceful game on the curt. Scholars call the ball they plan to hit and call the ball they plan to spike. Any miscommunication is resolved quickly and planned for in case of the same scenario.
On the sidelines, excitement radiates off the volleyball court in anticipation of where the ball will land. Many friendships blossom over teamwork done during their time on the court and their love for volleyball in general. Rotation on the court allows everyone the chance to play at least once in each position of the court.
The volleyball club is a community open to anyone to enjoy!
